"account": "The defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces have been eliminated from the postseason by the Golden State Valkyries, signaling the start of a new chapter for the team and its star player, Jackie Young. The 29-year-old guard has completed her eighth season with the Aces and will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason after signing a one-year, $1.19 million contract for the 2026 season.\n\nYoung, a five-time All-Star and two-time all-WNBA selection, has played her entire professional career with the Aces since being drafted by the organization first overall in 2019. She has been a pivotal player for the team, winning the league's Most Improved Player award in 2022 and becoming one of the best two-way players in the league. Her contributions have been instrumental in each of the Aces' three WNBA titles.\n\nBeyond her achievements with the Aces, Young is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist, having helped Team USA secure victory over France in the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup final in Berlin. Despite her success, Young expressed her commitment to remaining with the Aces, stating that \"Vegas is where I want to be.\" She spent the offseason focusing on improving her physical condition and refining her skills, averaging 18.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.8 assists during the 2026 regular season. The Aces finished the regular season with a 31-13 record, earning the No. 3 seed in the playoffs before being eliminated by the Valkyries.",
