"account": "US President Donald Trump recently referred to this year's Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Navi Pillay, as a \"mystery person\" during a campaign rally in Syracuse, New York. He expressed his disappointment at not winning the prestigious award every year during his presidency and called the Nobel Committee's decision not to recognize him \"disgraceful and embarrassing.\" Trump lamented that the choice is \"an indelible stain on the country of Norway.\"\n\nThe Nobel Prize was awarded to Pillay, a former International Criminal Court judge and leader of a UN inquiry that found Israel committed genocide in Gaza. Trump criticized Norway, saying, \"This is an indelible stain on the country of Norway and those people that made such a disgraceful and embarrassing decision.\" He claimed to have played a role in resolving several conflicts, including those between North and South Korea, Japan and North Korea, and China and Taiwan, though he did not provide evidence for these claims.\n\nTrump went on to dismiss the Nobel Peace Prize as \"forever discredited by a handful of radical ideologues who are anti-democracy and really enemies of civilisation.\" He vowed that the United States would not forget Norway's decision.",
