"account": "On October 9, 2026, Staples' soccer team demonstrated their dominance by defeating Class LL rival Greenwich 3-0, marking the second consecutive win in a high-stakes rivalry. Staples, currently ranked No. 1, outplayed the No. 2-seeded Cardinals, securing a well-deserved victory at Greenwich's home turf. Senior striker Adrian Rodriguez played a pivotal role in the triumph, scoring all three goals in the match.\n\nStaples' head coach Liam Witham expressed his admiration for the rivalry, stating that it has become deeply meaningful for both teams. He praised his players for their performance, particularly Rodriguez, who has been instrumental in leading the team to a 9-0-1 start in the season. \"The lad up front (Adrian Rodriguez) is another class,\" remarked Greenwich coach Kurt Putnam. \"Thank god he is leaving, because he has been a pain. When you have a player like him and you have kids who know how to play the game to find him with the runs he is making, you are always going to score goals.\"",
