"account": "Brooklyn Nets guard Keon Ellis signed with the team this past offseason due to the presence of head coach Jordi Fernandez. Ellis believes that the opportunity to experience a breakout season is present with the Nets. During a recent preseason game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Ellis started at the shooting guard position and finished with 12 points and one steal in 21 minutes on the court. Ellis acknowledged that there are games where he might shoot fewer shots, but he goes into every game focused on doing his job. When the Nets played without starting forwards Michael Porter Jr. and Day Ron Sharpe, Ellis took on more offensive responsibilities, including applying pressure on the defensive end and handling the ball off the dribble. Ellis could potentially become the fourth or fifth option for the Nets if they are healthy, serving as a point-of-attack defender who spreads the floor for the team.",
