"account": "New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin required assistance leaving the ice following a precarious tumble into his own net during a game against the Washington Capitals on Friday evening. The incident unfolded as the 30-year-old Russian defended a shot, eventually falling as he endeavored to regain his footing and return to the crease near the end of the second period.\n\nShesterkin's skate became trapped on the post while he was sliding back into the crease, causing him to plummet into the net. He remained on the ice for several minutes, holding his right knee and receiving medical assistance. Teammates supported Shesterkin as he was lifted from the ice.\n\nA veteran goaltender, Shesterkin, secured the Vezina Trophy in 2022, the NHL's annual award for the league's best goaltender. Last season, he missed a month due to a lower-body injury, which ultimately contributed to the Rangers failing to advance in the playoffs.",
