"account": "Turkish football federation announced on Friday that they have sacked head coach Vincenzo Montella following a series of disappointing Nations League results. Montella, who was appointed in September 2023, had led Turkey to the Euro 2024 quarter-finals, but the team failed to progress any further. In total, Turkey lost all four matches in the Nations League against France, Belgium, and twice against Italy. Despite the presence of star players like Hakan Calhanoglu from Inter Milan, Arda Guler of Real Madrid, and Kenan Yildiz of Juventus, the team's performance has declined in recent months. Turkey made history by being the first nation eliminated from the 2022 World Cup, despite a hard-fought win against their co-hosts, the United States. The team will next face Belgium in a Nations League match on November 12 before traveling to France for a game three days later. Before his tenure with Turkey, Montella had coached Italian clubs Fiorentina, Sampdoria, and AC Milan, as well as the Spanish side Sevilla.",
