"account": "Guard Allisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream faced unfortunate news before Game 3's tip-off in their WNBA playoff series against the New York Liberty. Gray had been dealing with a hand injury sustained in Game 1. Despite participating in warmups and a shootaround, she was ruled out just hours before the game began, according to ESPN's Kareem Copeland. The Dream led the best-of-five series 2-0. Details on the reason behind her removal were scarce, but it was likely a precautionary measure to allow Gray to potentially play in the WNBA Finals. DeWanna Bonner took her place in Game 2, where she contributed with 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Gray's impressive performance during the Dream's round one series against the Washington Mystics, including scoring 22 points in each game, made her absence a rare occurrence. If the Liberty won Friday's game, the series would continue on Sunday, Oct. 11. A potential Game 5 would see the teams return to Atlanta on Wednesday, Oct. 14. The WNBA Finals are set to commence on Saturday, Oct. 17.",
