"account": "Vincenzo Montella, the head coach of the Turkish national football team, was dismissed on Friday following a series of losses in the Nations League. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced on X that they would not continue with Montella as their head coach. The team has suffered defeats against France, Belgium, and twice against Italy since his appointment in September 2023. Montella, a former Italy international, guided Turkey to the Euro 2024 quarter-finals, where they lost 2-1 to the Netherlands. Despite having star players like Hakan Calhanoglu, Arda Guler from Real Madrid, and Juventus' Kenan Yildiz, the team's performance has declined in recent months. Turkey became the first nation to be eliminated from the World Cup this summer, despite defeating the host nation, the United States, in their final group match. The team will next face Belgium in the Nations League on November 12 before traveling to France three days later. Montella, 52, has a coaching history that includes Italian teams Fiorentina, Sampdoria, and AC Milan, as well as the Spanish club Sevilla.",
