The 24-year-old made his captaincy debut a memorable one with an explosive 89-ball innings of 89 runs. Chasing 183, Farhan's blistering knock of 53 balls proved pivotal as Pakistan reached the target with seven balls to spare. Opening partner Fakhar Zaman contributed 21 runs before being dismissed, but Sadaqat's maiden T20I half-century of 50 off just 29 balls helped set the tone for Pakistan's chase. Sri Lanka's openers Lahiru Udara and Kamindu Mendis provided a solid foundation for the visitors, posting an 186-run partnership for the third wicket. Udara's blazing 91 off 55 balls helped Sri Lanka post a competitive 182/8 in their 20 overs. The hosts fought back valiantly, but Farhan's masterful innings and Sadaqat's timely support proved decisive in clinching a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.",
