"account": "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described jurist Navi Pillay, the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, as a \"bigot\" against Jews. Pillay, a South African judge renowned for her work against war crimes and crimes against humanity, was awarded the prestigious prize for her efforts. She previously served as head of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, which concluded that Israel was committing genocide in Gaza last year. Netanyahu's office criticized the Nobel committee, stating that it had lost its moral compass and rewarded a bigot for spreading lies about the Jewish state. The Israeli foreign ministry further accused the Nobel committee of legitimizing anti-Israel hatred by awarding Pillay. Pillay, however, dedicated her award to survivors of international crimes, reflecting on her career in South African courts and international tribunals. The ICC has accused Netanyahu of war crimes in Gaza, but he denies the allegations.",
