"account": "A U.S. congressional delegation has urged SpaceX founder Elon Musk to expand access to Starlink for Ukraine, according to a briefing in Kyiv on October 9. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) personally supports approaching Musk about increasing Starlink's coverage and capabilities in Ukraine. The bipartisan group believes Starlink and the recently passed sanctions bill introduced by Sen. Lindsey Graham could pressure Russia. Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, expressed hope that an agreement could be reached with Musk. On October 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the U.S. to help Ukraine defend its airspace and expand Starlink's capabilities, suggesting it might force Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate. In July, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy met with U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss the possibility, but sources say Trump did not clearly support the idea. Musk has reportedly remained opposed to using Starlink for strikes against Russia.",
