"account": "Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to sanction politicians who engage in personal attacks during campaigns. Specifically, Wike criticized remarks attributed to Rotimi Amaechi, the African Democratic Congress vice-presidential candidate, who had called voters who support President Bola Tinubu \"thieves\" or \"mad\". Wike urged the electoral body to address such remarks, arguing that political campaigns should focus on candidates' policies and programmes rather than insults. He also warned that Amaechi may face difficulties campaigning in Rivers State if he continues with such remarks. The minister directed the Department of Development Control and security agencies to dismantle unauthorized beer parlours and other illegal commercial operations in parts of the Federal Capital Territory.",
