"account": "The rapid growth of AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity among ASEAN consumers is changing the landscape of online product research. Traditional Google rankings are no longer sufficient to ensure visibility and engagement. Businesses must now adopt Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to optimize content for AI platforms. GEO differs from traditional SEO by focusing on clear, extractable content, structured data markup, demonstrated authority, and locally-tailored context. The adoption of AI varies across ASEAN countries, with Singapore leading, while Vietnam and Indonesia lag behind. Treat AI visibility as a core market entry strategy to compete effectively in the region.",
"summary": "ASEAN consumers increasingly use AI tools like ChatGPT for product research, shifting visibility challenges from Google rankings.
