"account": "Buenos Aires, Argentina (AP) — Former defense guru Shaun Edwards will join Argentina ahead of the Rugby World Cup in Australia in a year's time. Edwards will assist the Pumas during the Nations Championship that resumes in November. Former Pumas coach Mario Ledesma also joined the staff to serve as the defense and forwards coach. Pumas coach Felipe Contepomi expressed confidence in the duo, stating that their experience will help the team grow and prepare effectively for the upcoming World Cup. Edwards, who has a successful track record in rugby union, previously coached England women and helped France win a Grand Slam in 2022 and back-to-back titles in 2025-26. He expressed his excitement about working with the Argentine team and contributing his international experience. Ledesma, who has played in four World Cups and coached at two, is also honored to return to the Pumas and work with the players and staff. The Pumas next match is against Ireland in Dublin on November 6 in the Nations Championship.",
