"account": "Conservative commentator Katie Zacharia has been appointed as the new White House press secretary, as confirmed by a White House official to the BBC. Zacharia is currently serving as a communications adviser for Trump Media & Technology Group. She would be the sixth chief spokesperson for the president across his two administrations. Zacharia briefly served as a spokesperson at the Department of Homeland Security. Previously, she held a short-term role as a press secretary at the White House, but left in August. Karoline Leavitt, the former White House Press Secretary, has reportedly joined Fox News.\n\nZacharia frequently appears as a guest on conservative media programs and has been working for Trump's media company and his Truth Social platform since June. Her role as press secretary extends beyond briefings, involving managing relationships with the press, coordinating with other White House departments, and providing media advice to the president. The secretary is also responsible for overseeing an office that receives a substantial number of inquiries and requests daily.",
