"account": "Activision and Infinity Ward have announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 players who pre-order the game can now gain early access to both the campaign and DMZ mode, starting on October 16 and October 20 respectively. The full launch of the game, which includes the rest of the experience, is scheduled for October 23. DMZ, originally introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in 2022, was expanded upon and is being touted as the series' definitive extraction shooter experience in Modern Warfare 4. Infinity Ward's multiplayer creative director, Joe Cecot, revealed that the DMZ beta presented various challenges, but the team learned that they had created an approachable, fun sandbox. The game mode will offer persistent progression in the open-world combat environment, the Hajin Exclusion Zone. DMZ will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.",
