"account": "Footage of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth struggling with military trainees while participating in training exercises went viral earlier this week. In response, the hosts of \"The View\" made light of the situation on Friday, ridiculing Hegseth for his poor performance following his previous statements about the high standards required in the military. During the segment on the show's Hot Topics segment, the ABC news panelists found amusement in Hegseth's evident difficulties, frequently exclaiming \"Look, look, look!\" as he fell behind. After the clip concluded, moderator Whoopi Goldberg inquired about Hegseth's motivations, asking, \"What is he overcompensating for?\" Fellow host Ana Navarro replied, to which host Alyssa Farah Griffin added, \"That guy would not get through my Pilates class.\" The hosts also pointed out that previous Secretaries of Defense had actively participated in physical fitness with the military, but none had struggled as much as Hegseth, or \"thirst bots,\" attempting to garner social media attention through their workouts. Host Sara Haines criticized Hegseth's recent rhetoric about military fitness, noting that he had previously called for \"no fatties, no beardos, no weirdos, no slowpokes.\" However, she later admitted that she had added the descriptor \"slowpokes\" specifically for Hegseth, as he had not specifically mentioned that group.",
