"account": "Rajinikanth, the 75-year-old superstar, is set to reprise his role in Jailer 2, signaling the start of a potential film franchise. However, the actor has previously declined offers for sequels to Baasha 2 and Petta 2, citing his aversion to making sequels. He explained that filmmakers often rely on previously successful elements and add more embellishments in sequels. When faced with proposals for Baasha 2 and Petta 2, Rajinikanth expressed his disinterest in these sequels. The turning point for him with Jailer 2 came after he rewatched the film post its OTT release. He was particularly drawn to the prospect of creating a sequel with a compelling story, as exemplified by the film's plot involving three containers of Rs 1,000 crore. In Jailer 2, Rajinikanth will reprise his character, Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, alongside returning actors Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Mirnaa, as well as newcomers SJ Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anna Rajan, and Jatin Sarna. Special appearances by Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, and Vijay Sethupathi echo the first installment. The film, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, is set to release on October 15, with a reported budget of Rs 250-350 crore, aiming to surpass the original's box-office success of Rs 604.50 crore.",
