"account": "On Thursday, three individuals, including a pilot, lost their lives in assaults on Riyadh's international airport, according to Saudi Arabia. The Yemen-based Houthis, who claimed responsibility, launched the attacks. Since their war began in 2014, the Houthis have taken control of the capital Sanaa and most major population centers in Yemen. The Saudi military coalition intervened in 2015 to support the government.\n\nRiyadh's civil aviation authority confirmed the death of the aircraft's captain, expressing deep sorrow. The attacks prompted diplomats in the city to take shelter and international schools to implement safety measures. Airports and schools were disrupted as numerous flights were delayed or cancelled. Missile interception debris damaged civilian infrastructure, including a kindergarten and medical complex.\n\nThe Houthis announced that they would require permission for planes to fly in or out of the transit hub. Humanitarian flights to and from Riyadh Airport were allowed for flights authorized by a Houthi coordinating body. Saudi Arabia and its supporters have been struggling to reclaim territory from the Houthis despite launching counter-offensives. The Houthis continue to hold their primary strongholds in northwestern Yemen.",
