"account": "In a multi-agency operation led by NACADA, law enforcement successfully dismantled the illegal liquor and drug trade in Ruiru, Kiambu County. The coordinated raids at a local liquor store in Gwa Kairu area resulted in the seizure of 216 pieces of 250ml Starlid Vodka, suspected to be counterfeit alcohol. Simultaneously, authorities recovered a cache of narcotics, including 96 rolls of dry plant material, six small brown sachets, and three medium sachets, believed to be narcotic drugs. The operation also yielded 31 brown rolling papers, eight whitish rolling papers, and Ksh. 25,840 in cash, likely proceeds from the illegal trade. Three suspects were arrested, including the owner of the liquor store where the counterfeit vodka was seized, and a shop attendant at the narcotics bust. NACADA CEO Dr. Anthony Omerikwa praised the collaboration between NACADA, the National Police Service, and the Anti-Counterfeit Authority, emphasizing the critical role of ACA in combating counterfeit alcohol. The operation serves as a warning to criminal enterprises that seek to harm consumers for profit, reinforcing NACADA's commitment to inter-agency collaboration in protecting Kenyan citizens.",
