Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim mentioned that RM7.1 billion of the overall allocation would be specifically used for procuring and maintaining equipment for the armed forces, police, and uniformed agencies. The government also agreed to construct new facilities, such as the MMEA Johor headquarters and the GOF 19th Battalion Complex. Additionally, RM490 million would be provided to the AKPS, and security measures at airports, including drug and alcohol tests for pilots and flight crew, will be strengthened. The budget theme is \"Reaching for the Sky, Rooted in the Ground.\" The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has blocked over 5.7 billion scam-related calls and SMS messages, and the National Scam Response Centre will develop an AI-powered application to help the public identify suspicious numbers and links.
