"account": "Dylan Harper, the second-year player for the San Antonio Spurs, has revealed that his main focus over the offseason was improving his perimeter presence. This decision came after struggling with shooting from beyond the arc during the 2025-26 season, where he shot just 34.3% from the three-point range, significantly below the league average of 36%. His raw numbers were even more concerning, with 27.13% of his attempts coming from outside the arc, leaving the paint cluttered and making it difficult for Victor Wembanyama and other Spurs big men to navigate. This led to poor offensive rebounding and a low 26.2% offensive rebound percentage (ORB%) for the Spurs. By working on shooting from the perimeter, Harper aims to become more efficient and draw defenders away from Wembanyama, creating more opportunities for the Spurs to secure offensive rebounds. Although it's too early to determine if these improvements have already manifested, Harper's better shooting has already helped the Spurs in their preseason game against the Atlanta Hawks, where he went 60% from the three-point line, scored 16 points, and grabbed 13 offensive rebounds.",
