"account": "Anthony De Ceglie, the founder CEO of the Perth Bears rugby league club, has announced his departure from the organization, the club confirmed. De Ceglie, a former executive at Seven West Media, took on the role in May 2025 with the aim of guiding the club as it prepares to join the NRL next year as the 18th team and the first from Western Australia since 1997. De Ceglie expressed pride in the team's progress over the past year, stating his confidence in the club's future growth. The reason for his resignation has not been disclosed, though speculation exists that the board is seeking a replacement. The announcement follows the recent departure of David Sharpe, who served as the head of football. De Ceglie expressed gratitude for the support he received during the club's initial stages and mentioned that Gareth Holmes, the general manager of football, would serve as CEO until a permanent successor is appointed.",
