"account": "Best horror movies of 2026 include Iron Lung, Cold Storage, Primate, Obsession, and Undertone. Iron Lung follows Markiplier's convict Simon on a mission to the bottom of a blood ocean on an alien moon. Cold Storage is a fungal horror film based on NASA's Skylab falling out of orbit in 1979. Primate is a creature feature set in a remote Hawaiian mansion, with a rabid chimpanzee as the main threat. Obsession, directed by Curry Barker, is a twisted rom-com where the protagonist is actually the villain. Undertone is a slow-burn, claustrophobic horror story about a podcaster's obsession with mysterious audio clips.",
