"account": "A 55-year-old driver escaped injury after a train collided with his Honda car at a railway crossing in Lagos, Nigeria. The accident occurred at the PWD railway crossing, involving a train en route to Agege and a Honda car with registration number EKY 902 JT. The vehicle sustained significant damage in the incident. Officials from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and security personnel rescued the motorist and cleared the damaged car from the tracks, allowing the train to continue its journey. However, heavy traffic congestion persisted around the PWD area following the collision. LASTMA's General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, commended the quick response of both officials and security personnel, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in emergencies involving railway lines and adjacent roads. He urged motorists to exercise caution at railway crossings and cautioned against reckless behavior near train tracks, warning that violating safety protocols could lead to disastrous outcomes. LASTMA also advised road users to adhere to traffic regulations and railway safety guidelines, stressing the critical importance of preserving human life in all road-use decisions.",
