"account": "OTTAWA – In Ottawa Senators' 2-1 victory over Philadelphia Flyers, Carter Yakemchuk scored the game-winning power-play goal. The 21-year-old defenceman stated he was merely trying to shoot through the point when the puck went in. Despite struggling with the puck earlier in the game, Ottawa’s coaching staff continued to rely on the young player. Head coach Travis Green noted Yakemchuk's improvement over the summer, although he had been concerned about his performance. The Senators are counting on players like Yakemchuk to step up due to Jake Sanderson and Artem Zub's injuries. Meanwhile, Hoyt Stanley made his NHL debut, but left early due to a hit from Flyers defenceman Simon Benoit, leaving him unable to put weight on his left leg. The Senators will face the Nashville Predators on Saturday.",
