"account": "Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, a church in Ondo, Southwest Nigeria, recently took steps to empower women and support marginalized community members. The organization granted 10 women free training in fashion design and gifted them brand-new sewing machines. Additionally, the church provided widows with grinding machines to bolster their businesses and ease the financial burden on their households. Furthermore, the church awarded scholarships to 20 indigent pupils at Mountain Top Nursery and Primary School in Akure, aiming to alleviate the strain of educational expenses.\n\nAccording to Pastor Ademola Adeniyi, the Mega Regional Overseer of MFM Ondo Mega Region 1, the initiatives align with the vision of the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya. The church's main goal is to empower people and foster financial independence through various programs, including evangelism and humanitarian services. Adeniyi emphasized that these skills would provide beneficiaries with a source of income, improve their living conditions, and enhance their overall well-being.\n\nThe fashion designing program's objective is to equip women with practical skills to start their own businesses, generate income, and become financially independent. Similarly, grinding machines were distributed to widows to strengthen their businesses and address financial needs. The scholarships are intended to ease the burden of educational expenses for the selected pupils.\n\nAdeniyi praised Dr. Olukoya and his wife, Dr. Folashade Olukoya, for their commitment to transforming lives through humanitarian services and empowerment programs. He also revealed that the MFM Ondo Mega Region 1 Resource Centre has trained over 100 women, teenagers, and youths in free fashion designing courses, providing sewing machines to the beneficiaries.\n\nThe church's empowerment initiatives are designed to foster sustainable sources of income rather than relying solely on external assistance. Adeniyi urged the latest beneficiaries to utilize their newly acquired skills and encouraged church members and the public to patronize their businesses.\n\nBeneficiaries of the empowerment programs expressed gratitude to God and the church for their interventions, expressing hope that the support would improve their livelihoods and strengthen their ability to provide for their families.",
