"account": "An Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) alumni group has expressed worry over recent US immigration policy changes affecting skilled Indian professionals on H-1B visas and the PERM program. The PanIIT Alumni India association highlighted the instability of careers dependent on visas and urged for fair and transparent application of immigration policies. The group also criticized the characterization of Indian professionals as \"indentured servants\" and urged the global IIT diaspora to build, scale, and contribute in their home nation.",
