"account": "Apple is set to unveil a slew of new smart home products at its Welcome Home event on October 13 in New York. The event is expected to introduce a range of devices, including a HomePad smart home hub, an upgraded HomePod mini, an enhanced Apple TV 4K, and smart home devices from a partnership with LG.\n\nThe HomePad, potentially dubbed the HomePod 3, is the star of the show. It is rumored to be a speaker with an attached iPad-like touchpad, powered by Siri AI to manage requests. It may also have a FaceTime camera for video calls and presence sensors to initiate smart home routines. The HomePad could be available in either speaker or wall-mounted touchpad versions, with the potential for recognizing individual users.\n\nThe HomePod mini 2 is another expected device, featuring a faster new chip to handle Siri AI and some audio improvements. The update could include new colorways. The original HomePod mini was released in 2020, and the rumored update has been on rumor radar since 2023.\n\nAn updated Apple TV 4K is also expected to be announced. Although it has been overdue for an upgrade, rumors suggest it will feature the A19 or A20 chipset, rather than the initially speculated A17 Pro. The new Apple TV may also include the rumored N2 chip for better Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and possibly a redesigned remote.\n\nSeveral devices from Apple's partnership with LG, including a video doorbell and smart thermostat, could also be unveiled. The Smart Deadbolt lock is rumored to feature a rotating keypad, a swivel pin, and support for auto-unlocking, tap-to-unlock, and emergency power. The Smart Thermostat is expected to have a far-sight display, humidity display, and settings for calibrated temperature, temperature offset, and brightness. Lastly, the Temperature sensor from LG is rumored to be able to detect humidity levels, with a magnetic back for attaching to metal surfaces.",
