"account": "LeBron James kicked off his final NBA season with a loss as the Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Brooklyn Nets 114-108 in a preseason game. The 41-year-old star joined the 76ers in July, stating it would be his last contract in the league after an illustrious 20-year career. James contributed 10 points, four rebounds, five assists, and a steal in 18 minutes during the first half. Despite the defeat, James remained hopeful about the team's potential, acknowledging that chemistry takes time to develop. \"We're still trying to put each other in the position to be successful and complement each other the best way we can on the floor. But it's going to take some time,\" he said. \"Tonight was a good sample size for us to build on.\"\n\nJames was joined by new teammates Joel Embiid, VJ Edgecombe, and Tyrese Maxey, while Jaylen Brown led the scoring with 18 points for the Nets. The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player's career has seen him win championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Miami Heat, making him the all-time leading scorer in the league. James is now aiming to help the 76ers end their 43-year championship drought as they continue to build their understanding of the game for the upcoming season.",
