"account": "President Donald Trump ruled out attacking Iran before the US midterm elections on November 3, stating that Washington was holding \"productive discussions\" with Tehran. The announcement came after a surge in oil prices was driven by reports of potential new US strikes prior to the elections. Trump emphasized that Iran is in a \"very bad condition\" economically and militarily, and the blockade against the country will remain in full force. Despite White House efforts to develop strike options, Trump expressed his \"ambivalence\" towards such actions before the elections. The tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and hostilities between Iranian-backed Houthi rebels and Saudi Arabia have contributed to the oil price surge. Polls indicate American voters are dissatisfied with fuel prices, which have risen since the US-Israeli strikes against Iran on February 28. Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to help end the Middle East war during a meeting with Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian, stating that Iran has made \"real efforts\" to resolve the situation.",
