"account": "Bashir Adeniyi, President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, has praised Team Nigeria for securing the country's first-ever medal at the Veterans World Wrestling Championships in Amman, Jordan. The achievement belongs to Elias Mika, a former national champion who won bronze in the 70kg Greco-Roman category. The championships, organized by United World Wrestling, took place from October 6 to 11 and featured wrestlers aged 35 and above in both Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling categories. Adeniyi also commended veteran coach Babatunde James, known as Tunde King, for his role in guiding Mika. He emphasized the significance of the medal for Nigeria's wrestling community, stating that Mika's dedication and commitment to the sport exemplify the enduring passion of our veterans. Adeniyi highlighted that the medal has cemented Nigeria's reputation in world veterans wrestling and expressed optimism about the contributions of former athletes in inspiring and mentoring younger wrestlers. The federation has integrated veteran wrestling into its strategic plan to recognize the contributions of these athletes and maintain their connection to the sport. Adeniyi assured veterans that the present board will continue to support their welfare and involvement.",
