"summary": "Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and security under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. He condemned recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, including those targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, which resulted in civilian casualties.\n\nThe Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, which also includes Turkiye, was signed on August 7 and aims to strengthen collective deterrence. According to Dawn, the agreement empowers its signatory states to treat an attack against one of them as an attack against all of them.\n\nThe Prime Minister expressed \"unwavering\" solidarity with Saudi Arabia and commended the \"vigilance and professionalism\" of the Saudi armed forces and the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen for intercepting ballistic missiles. He called on the Houthis to immediately cease attacks and stated that Pakistan will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia in the face of these threats.",
