"account": "Edatech, an education technology company, has rolled out its AI-powered learning platform, EDAT, to secondary schools across Sub-Saharan Africa after a successful pilot in Edo State. The platform unifies students, teachers, parents and school administrators, offering personalized learning support based on individual student performance. Founder Sylvester Juwe explained that the system eliminates fragmentation in school management by using one platform for results, attendance, communication, and other administrative functions. During a competition in Benin City, students showcased the platform's capabilities by overcoming power and network issues to win the event, competing alongside teachers and parents (Human Fusion Units). Education Operations Lead Davidson Ohiafi highlighted the platform's relevance to classrooms in Africa, where teachers often manage large numbers of students. EDAT tracks student progress through various activities, providing teachers with heat maps, lesson plans, and end-of-term reports. The platform currently covers the Nigerian curriculum across 22 subjects, with the potential to expand to other countries' curricula within days. Edatech's Chief Inspector of Education for Edo State, Mercy Imasuen-Isibor, emphasized the platform's potential to improve access to learning support for students.",
