"account": "Nana Patekar, the renowned actor who passed away after a cardiac arrest, was cremated late at night at his farmhouse in Pune. Son Malhar Patekar provided insights into the timing of the final rites, stating that the family expected his father's remains to arrive earlier to the village. However, the delay in transportation led to a longer journey than anticipated. As Nana Patekar's death occurred early in the morning, a significant amount of time had already passed, prompting the family to proceed with the last rites on the same day. In Hindu tradition, cremation is typically done during the day, avoiding the inauspicious period after sunset; however, practices vary across regions and circumstances. Malhar also reflected on his father's legacy, emphasizing that his contributions to society would endure through various initiatives, including water sector projects and education and health programs in Kashmir. The actor's funeral was marked by full state honors, with political leaders, film industry members, and over 1,000 admirers in attendance, witnessing the 21-gun salute and his mortal remains being draped in the Tricolor.",
