"account": "Colton Parayko has shattered a St. Louis Blues record, becoming the team's all-time leading defenseman in games played. The 33-year-old veteran reached the milestone when he appeared in his 804th game with the Blues on Thursday against the San Jose Sharks at Enterprise Center in St. Louis. The team celebrated the achievement in a social media post on X, formerly Twitter, congratulating Parayko for breaking the record. Parayko, who has never played for another team in his NHL career, made his debut with St. Louis in 2015 and won the franchise's first Stanley Cup in 2019. He also earned recognition as part of the 2015-16 NHL All-Rookie Team. While Parayko has eclipsed Barret Jackman's record of 805 games played, there is still a significant distance to go to break Bernie Federko's all-time team record of 927 games. Nonetheless, Parayko's future with the Blues looks secure, as he signed an eight-year, $52 million extension in 2021 that includes a full no-trade clause from 2022 to 2027 and a 15-team no-trade list for the 2028-29 season.",
