"account": "Erling Haaland urged Manchester City to \"stick together\" following a financial-rules conviction that could result in severe penalties for the Premier League leaders. The Norwegian striker, who joined City in 2022, said the squad must maintain positivity and focus on winning games despite the uncertainty. City faces a potential points deduction or even expulsion from the Premier League after an independent commission found the club used \"sham\" commercial contracts to boost revenue and minimize costs by over £900 million (RM4.9 billion) from 2009 to 2018. Haaland, who signed a contract until 2034 last year, acknowledged his dedication to the club and its fans, stating he cares deeply about both. City manager Enzo Maresca echoed Haaland's call for unity, emphasizing that the team trusts the club's leadership and remains focused on football. The Norwegian has scored 169 goals in 205 appearances for the club and played a key role in Norway's World Cup quarter-final campaign. City currently enjoy a perfect start to the Premier League season, winning all five of their opening matches, and Maresca expressed confidence in the team's unity and determination.",
