"account": "On Thursday afternoon, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents opened fire in Manhattan's Marble Hill neighborhood, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD). The incident occurred around 4 p.m., with the victim taken to a nearby hospital and reported to be conscious. The New York City Police Department stated that the victim was shot multiple times while a child in his car was unharmed. Iris Rosa, a local resident, stated she witnessed the shooting after hiding in a store, as she believed the agents had fired into a car. The victim, Rosa claimed, was on the ground, bleeding, and being restrained by ICE agents. A neighbor's photos of the aftermath show government agents in plain clothes with tactical vests and an individual holding an assault rifle. Rosa observed the high-visibility vest was later removed and placed in a nearby vehicle. This is one of at least 25 people shot by federal immigration agents this year, as reported by the New York Immigration Coalition.",
