"account": "On Thursday, a man sustained injuries following a shooting involving US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents in the Marble Hill neighborhood of the Bronx, one of New York's five boroughs, according to the New York City metropolitan police. The New York Police Department has firmly denied involvement in the incident, which has led to protests by local media. These protests have been fueled by speculations that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was implicated in the event.\n\nNew York Governor Kathy Hochul, who was briefed on the matter, emphasized the need for transparency from federal authorities regarding the incident, stating that New Yorkers deserve to know the full details of what transpired and the reasons behind it. DHS has not yet issued a public statement regarding the shooting.\n\nThe incident echoes previous controversies surrounding ICE and Border Patrol shootings during Donald Trump's second term. In January, an ICE agent killed a US citizen, Renee Good, in Minneapolis, leading to demonstrations in the city and across the country. Subsequently, Alex Pretti, another US citizen, was killed by two US Customs and Border Protection agents in Minneapolis after an altercation in the same month.",
"summary": "The shooting happened in the afternoon in the Bronx, with details still emerging. The incident involved the US Department of Homeland Security, the parent agency of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).",
