"account": "Paramount and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura have started development on a Cyberpunk 2077 movie, according to Deadline. The film is set to be the first in a series of video game-inspired projects for the studio, joining a lineup that includes a Call of Duty movie and a Street Fighter adaptation. Cyberpunk follows mercenary V as he navigates Night City, a sprawling urban landscape. During a heist to retrieve a biochip, \"The Relic,\" V is forced to integrate the chip into his brain, resulting in the consciousness of a rockstar terrorist, Johnny Silverhand, infiltrating his host. In an effort to remove the chip and eliminate the Arasaka Corporation, V must confront the overlapping presence of Johnny Silverhand. Despite initial backlash and subsequent patches, Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 40 million copies and sparked an animated series on Netflix, with a sequel series on the horizon. CD Projekt Red's joint CEO, Michał Nowakowski, expressed excitement about Paramount as a potential partner in continuing the Cyberpunk franchise, hinting at further developments in the future.",
