"summary": "The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development has urged men to take active roles in challenging patriarchy and preventing gender-based violence. Dr. Otive Igbuzor, Project Director of the Centre's Male Feminists Network, emphasized during a capacity-strengthening program for Women's Rights Organisations in Abuja that genuine male allyship should strengthen women's leadership and not overshadow it. Igbuzor cautioned against performative allyship and stressed that accountable male participation requires men to challenge patriarchal practices, remain accountable to women and feminist principles, and support rather than substitute women's leadership.",
