"account": "On October 8, a group of over 120 US lawmakers expressed alarm over Alphabet's Google unit's plan to acquire defunct airline Spirit Airlines' internal data for $10 million to utilize in developing artificial intelligence models. The lawmakers, spearheaded by Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Steven Horsford, emphasized that the acquisition would encompass 100 million emails, 500 million Microsoft Teams messages, and other employee records.\n\nThe lawmakers urged Google to exclude employee information from the deal as much as feasible. They requested that the transaction be conducted in a manner that prioritizes the protection of individuals' privacy and sensitive data.",
