"account": "The African Democratic Congress (ADC) will on Friday inaugurate its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), marking a crucial step in its preparations for the 2027 general elections. The ceremony will take place at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre in Abuja at 4pm and is expected to bring together key ADC leaders and candidates vying for various elective positions on the party's platform. Special Adviser to the National Chairman on Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, stated that the event signifies a significant milestone in the party's preparations for the upcoming polls. All ADC members, including gubernatorial and parliamentary candidates, are anticipated to attend the inauguration. The ceremony will formally activate the ADC's presidential campaign machinery, positioning the party as one of the opposition platforms challenging the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The ADC, led by former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has been actively building its structures nationwide and coordinating campaign activities to challenge the ruling party. The inauguration comes as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 elections. Atiku, who is the ADC presidential candidate, has named Senator Austin Akobundu as the Director-General of the Campaign Council. The ceremony is seen as a platform for the party to articulate its priorities and coordinate efforts under a unified campaign message.",
