"account": "The Nasarawa State Police Command has urged political parties to postpone their rallies and gatherings scheduled for October 10. This appeal comes after the North Central Grassroots Mobilisation Movement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced plans to hold an event at Lafia Square on Saturday. Police Public Relations Officer SP Ramhan Nansel made this statement on behalf of Commissioner of Police Shetima Muhammed. The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is expected to attend the APC rally. Nansel emphasized that rescheduling other political activities on the same day would allow security agencies to adequately prepare for the event, prevent potential clashes between supporters of different parties, and ensure a smooth movement of dignitaries, including the First Lady. The command respects the constitutional rights of political parties but requests cooperation to maintain public safety and peaceful conduct of political activities. Nansel expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation shown by political parties, their supporters, and the public.",
