"account": "The search committee tasked with identifying a replacement for Carlos Queiroz as head coach of the Black Stars anticipates recommending an interim coach, according to 3Sports. The five-member panel, established by the Ministry of Sports and the Ghana Football Association (GFA), will present its findings on Friday, October 9. The interim coach will oversee the national team during their upcoming November matches against Somalia in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches at the Accra Sports Stadium. The search for a permanent head coach will continue concurrently. The committee, chaired by former GFA vice-president Fred Pappoe and comprising former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Anthony Yeboah, Faisal Chibsah, and Agbesi Dzakpasu, may have its mandate extended following the interim coach recommendation. Carlos Queiroz relinquished his position following two consecutive losses to Ivory Coast and The Gambia, which left Ghana at the bottom of Group C with no points from their opening two matches in the AFCON qualifiers. Ghana is eager to regain eligibility for the AFCON after skipping the 2025 tournament in Morocco.",
