"account": "The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has announced that pop star Taylor Swift will perform at the 2026 gala, which will honor filmmaker-composer John Carpenter, alongside Charlize Theron and Colman Domingo. The news was revealed on October 8, just nine days prior to the event on October 17. Academy Museum and Academy Collection director and president Amy Homma expressed excitement about Taylor Swift's participation, praising her global resonance. Last year, the gala celebrated Penélope Cruz, Bowen Yang, Walter Salles, and Bruce Springsteen. Swift's \"I Knew It, I Knew You,\" featured in the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, is currently leading the Billboard Hot 100. At the Grammy Museum appearance in August, she incorporated the song into a piano mashup with \"August\" and \"All Too Well,\" indicating her interest in performing it again at the Academy Museum Gala. She has released four new songs since September, including \"Patient Zero,\" \"Pink Clouding,\" \"Babylon,\" and \"Cleveland!\"",
