"account": "Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori announced the establishment of an Air Defence Unit within the 83 Division of the Nigerian Army in his state. This move is aimed at enhancing security and safeguarding critical national assets. The newly formed 83 Division, which includes Delta, Edo, and Bayelsa states, will bolster the Army's ability to counter security threats in these regions. The Air Defence Unit will be located in Delta due to the state's strategic position and its proximity to the airport. The government has already allocated land for a temporary facility while plans are underway for a permanent site. Between 300 and 400 military personnel are anticipated to arrive in the state in the coming weeks. Oborevwori emphasized that improved security has led to a decrease in armed robbery, kidnapping, and other violent crimes. He also highlighted the importance of securing oil and gas infrastructure and other vital national assets in the state. The governor pledged continued support for the military and other security agencies, directing the Commissioners for Housing and Lands to begin assessing the temporary site.",
