"summary": "Six years after Shelia Madore was reported missing, Halifax police have continued their investigation into her 2020 homicide. Madore, aged 48 at the time of disappearance, was last seen in the Gottingen Street area of Halifax on July 23, 2020. Human remains were discovered in a wooded area near Findlay Community Centre in Dartmouth on March 12, 2021, and were later identified as Madore's by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service. The case is being handled by the special investigation unit in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards program, which offers rewards up to $150,000 for information leading to an arrest. Police encourage anyone with information to come forward, as even the smallest piece of information may help progress the investigation.",
