"account": "The Ondo State Competition and Consumer Protection Agency (ODCCPA) has granted businesses in the state a one-month extension to complete mandatory registration. In a notice published on X, the agency's Executive Chairman, Oluyemi Fasipe, emphasized that registration was mandatory for all businesses operating within Ondo State. The registration process is free of charge, and successful applicants will receive an official ODCCPA Registration ID and Certificate. The agency granted the grace period to allow business owners adequate time to comply before enforcement measures take effect. Failure to register post-grace period could result in sanctions and fines as per the law. The ODCCPA urged businesses to utilize the grace period to complete their registration promptly. Registration can be completed online via the agency's portal. The registration initiative aims to bolster consumer protection and ensure adherence to relevant regulations in Ondo State. The agency's efforts align with broader economic and regulatory objectives in the region.",
