"account": "Alirat Wahab, a mother of one of the 20 prospective National Youth Service Corps members abducted in Imo State, recounted how her family raised the ransom demanded by the kidnappers. Initially, the abductors demanded N50m per child, but after the parents pleaded, the ransom was reduced to N6m. The kidnappers first asked N50m per child, but the parents argued against it. The abductors then agreed to N5m but later increased the demand to N15m. The family continued negotiations until they settled on N6m. The parents, including Wahab's husband and the victim's brother, traveled to Imo State to deliver the ransom. They were instructed to convert the money to dollars and not to transfer it through an account. The family raised the N6m through contributions from relatives, friends, and others, along with borrowing money. The ransom was paid, and the victims were later released.",
